No, and that’s one of the advantages of attending Frontier Community College! We offer textbook rentals to our students, which provides even greater savings. You’ll pick up your textbooks from our college bookstore at the start of each semester, and simply return them at the end of the semester.
On an average day, students will partake in classroom lecture and discussion relating to each CMA class. You can expect to work with computers each day to complete electronic medical records, bill insurance claims, and process patient encounters. More hands-on training will be performed throughout the semesters, which will include learning how to obtain vitals, draw and process labs, and obtain EKGs.
