Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the Olney Central College Accounting Program will be able to…  

  1. Prepare accurate financial statements and tax documents appropriate to the accounting profession.

  2. Demonstrate the technology and computer skills appropriate to the business world (including, but not limited to, bookkeeping software Quickbooks Premier; also general computer skills).

  3. Accurately demonstrate the differences between Job Order and Process Cost Accounting Systems.

  4. Demonstrate communication skills appropriate to business and finance professions.

  5. Analyze examples of societal impacts, legal rights and duties, and ethical issues in the legal environment.
