The Arts at Lincoln Trail College Hosting Two Spring Concerts
The Arts at Lincoln Trail College will host a part of concerts in April. The Spring Choral Concert is on April 21 at 7 p.m. at the Zwermann Arts Center Theater and the Spring Instrumental Ensemble Concert is on April 28 at 7 p.m. at the Zwermann Arts Center Theater.

Lincoln Trail College's Children's Summer Theater Registration Date Announced
Registration for Lincoln Trail College’s Children’s Summer Theater program will take place from 8-10 a.m. on April 22. Registration will take place in the Zwermann Arts Center.   The popular theater camp for children entering 1st-9th grades begins May 29 and runs through June 23. There are two shows this year: Willy Wonka Kids and Newsies, Jr.

Early Childhood Education Town Hall Meeting April 18
Wabash Valley College is hosting Town Hall Meetings for its Early Childhood Education Program, which is available on all four campuses of Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC). The event will be held at Olney Central College at 7 p.m. on April 18 in the Student Union. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and no reservations are required. The Town Hall is open to childcare providers, preschool teachers, high school juniors/seniors, parents of teens, employers, community partners, former students, and parents of young children.

Broadband Telecom Program Remains Uninterrupted Despite Tornado Damage
On March 31st, a tornado wreaked havoc on Lincoln Trail College's Crisp Center, the home of the Broadband Telecom program. Despite the destruction, the college is pleased to announce that the semester will continue as scheduled.

South Pacific Opens This Weekend at Lincoln Trail College
The Arts at Lincoln Trail College is putting final preparations together for their spring production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific.”  Premiering on Broadway in 1949, this classic musical is set during WWII and deals with the subject of racial prejudice – a topic that finds relevancy today. The show features well-known songs such as, “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Bali Ha’i,” “Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair,” and “Nothing Like a Dame.”  Opening night for this Pulitzer Award-winning musical is Friday, March 24 with a 7:00 p.m. performance followed by a 7:00 p.m.

OCC Theater's 'Cinderella' Opens March 24
OLNEY, IL – Olney Central College Theater will present the musical Cinderella at the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center, opening on March 24. Cinderella resides under the cruelty of her wicked stepmother and her evil stepsisters until her Fairy Godmother steps in to change her life for one unforgettable night. At the ball, she falls for a handsome prince whose parents are anxious for him to find a suitable wife.

Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC) is proud to announce a “pay no-tuition” for students who enroll in specific summer courses. This applies to all IECC schools, including Wabash Valley College, Lincoln Trail College, Frontier Community College, and Olney Central College.

Lincoln Trail College is giving students a chance to save money while taking important college classes this summer. The College is offering five classes tuition-free in the Summer 2023 Semester.

Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Experiences Four Semesters of Enrollment Gains
At a time when college enrollment is declining nationwide, Illinois Eastern Community Colleges has had four consecutive semesters of enrollment gains.. District-wide enrollment is up  1.69 percent this Spring as compared to the Spring of 2022. “I am obviously very pleased with the positive trend in our enrollment,” said IECC Chancellor Dr. Ryan Gower. “Andrea Loll and her team have done an excellent job developing a plan and building relationships with area schools and prospective students.”
