Philosophy

Our goal is to provide a healthy and caring environment for children.

Small World philosophy is based on discovery learning-- the belief of learning, growing, and developing are natural, intuitive and inevitable processes. Children want to learn and be independent. They are naturally curious, innovative, and creative.

We value uniqueness of each young child as he/she is playing while developing through the learning process.

Teachers recognize that the parents are the first teachers within a child’s life. The child will be able to enhance his/her individual fine and gross motor skills, develop creative thinking, make decisions through experimentation, increase reasoning, increase language skills, and be afforded opportunities to develop emotional and moral skills.
