FACULTY SCHOLARSHIP

Awarded to senior high school students based on GPA, class rank, and ACT or SAT scores. Valued at up to $2,000 covering only tuition for Fall Semester -$1,000, and Spring Semester -$1,000.  Applications are available online from Wabash Valley College at www.iecc.edu/wvc or from your high school guidance counselor in November of your senior year and must be returned by March 1 of your senior year.

WVC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Awarded to WVC sophomore students who have received a Freshman Scholarship, have completed 32 credit hours, and have obtained an overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 by the end of spring semester of their freshman year. Valued at up to $2,000 covering only tuition for Fall Semester -$1,000, and Spring Semester -$1,000. Applications are available beginning February 1 from the WVC Financial Aid Office or at www.iecc.edu/wvc and must be returned by the end of spring semester in May.

WVC DEAN'S AWARD

Awarded to WVC sophomore students who have not received a Freshman Scholarship and based on college activities and overall GPA of freshman fall / spring semesters (usually requires an overall GPA of 3.5/4.0 by the end of spring semester of freshman year). Valued at up to $2,000 covering only tuition for Fall Semester -$1,000 and Spring Semester -$1,000. Applications are available from the WVC Financial Aid Office or at www.iecc.edu/wvc and must be returned by the end of spring semester in May.

FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)

Completing this form determines if you are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG), the Federal Work Study Program, and Federal Student Loans. The FAFSA Application also determines if Illinois students are eligible for the Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant. ALL STUDENTS SHOULD COMPLETE THE FAFSA.  The FAFSA Application is available online at https://fafsa.ed.gov/
