You might be right out of high school but have to work, have family commitments that prevent on campus visits or work full time but need courses for professional development and advancement. We have a range of options and the best thing is online course can be accessed almost 24/7-365 days a year. Our Helpdesk is staffed from 8am-4pm M-F for phone support and outside those hours you can use our online request form.
Our accredited courses, certificates and online degrees offer you a wide variety of options at some of the lowest tuition rates you will find. Online courses are fully online classes* that can be completed at home, work, or anywhere you have an Internet-connected computer. *Proctored testing may be required, but can be arranged in your area.

IECC Accreditation to Offer Online Degrees
Illinois Eastern Community Colleges is pleased to announce the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools has extended their accreditation to include the distance delivery of six associate degrees. The approval for distance delivery allows IECC to offer online courses which lead to the award of a two-year degree and certificates. IECC is accredited to offer Associate in Science and Arts Transfer Degree, Associate in Science Transfer Degree, Associate in General Studies Degree, Associate of Applied Science Degrees (Accounting and Computing); Associate in Applied Science Degrees (Administrative Information Tech), and the Associate in Applied Science Degrees (Medical Office Assistant).
Currently IECC offers over 200 online classes with 52 programs available with 50% or more of classes offered online. IECC enrolls approximately 2,000 students in online classes each semester. Online classes can be accessed with a computer and an internet connection allowing the student the convenience to take classes at times that are convenient for their schedules. The online classes follow the same timeline of traditional class semester offerings and typically run over a 16 week period. During the summer semester online classes follow the 8 week schedule. IECC has online registration, bookstores, financial aid, advising, library services and technical assistance available to all students who enroll in online classes.
