Register now for summer classes beginning June 5

Lincoln Trail College continues to register students for summer semester classes beginning June 5.

Classes will be offered in the following subject areas: business, college preparatory, computer, education, English, communications, speech, Spanish, health occupations, health and physical education, humanities, math, life science, and social science.

Students seeking morning classes may enjoy 9 a.m. classes such as: Fundamentals of Accounting (ACC 1102) with Gazi Rahman, Monday through Thursday; General Biology (LSC 1101) with Carrie Brown, Monday through Thursday; Music Appreciation (MUS 1101) with Ken Strieby, Tuesday and Thursday; and Marriage and Family (SOC 2103), Tuesday and Thursday.

Afternoon class openings include: Cinema Appreciation (ART 1141) with Lonnie Devin at 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; College Algebra (MTH 1103) with Mary Jane Becktell at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; and Intermediate Spanish (SPN 2112) with Elaine Harder at 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Evening openings include: Topics and Issues in Art (ART 2198) with Angie Compton at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Hutsonville High School; Composition I (ENG 1111) with Nick Shaner at 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and Interpersonal Communications (SPE 1111) with Diana Thompson, 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Among the online classes beginning June 5 are: Managerial Effectiveness: Personnel (BUS 1102); Principles of Business (BUS 1103); Essential Computer Skills (CTY 1275); History of Vietnam (HIS 2122); Philosophy of Religion (PHI 2121); Adolescent Psychology (PSY 2105); and Death and Dying (SOC 2104).

To enroll in an online class, a student must first successfully complete Introduction to Online Learning (CIS 1104).
