FCC to Host Program Showcase for High School Students

Frontier Community College will host a Program Showcase on Thursday, November 14, for both interested community individuals and area high school students.  The event will be held in FCC’s Workforce Development Center from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., and participants will explore transfer degrees as well as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs.  Interested individuals should RSVP with the college or their high school guidance counselor by Tuesday, November 5.

The Program Showcase will allow students to learn firsthand about the available program and degree offerings at FCC.  Based on their indicated educational and career interests, each student will attend breakout sessions across campus that give them the opportunity to meet program instructors, view the classroom or program learning environment, and ask questions.  All students will attend a financial aid session and a student panel.  Participants can indicate their interests by contacting their guidance counselor or FCC.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and each student will receive a free T-shirt and other giveaways.

RSVP for the event and choose your breakout sessions here.

For more information about the Program Showcase or to RSVP, contact Carrie Halbert, Coordinator of Recruitment and Retention, at 618-842-3711.
