FAFSA-Free Application for Federal Student Aid

Each year, as soon after October 1 as possible, students should apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  First-time users will need to create an FSA ID.  A paper FAFSA form, which must be mailed to the federal processors, is available in the Financial Aid Office (FAO) of the college.  However, it is highly recommended the application be completed on the internet at the link above in order to expedite the process.

IECC School Codes to reference on the FAFSA are:

FCC..................014090
LTC...................009786
OCC..................001742
WVC.................001779

Additional guidance for creating an FSA ID is available here.  NOTE: Parents of dependent students will need their own FSA ID in order to sign the FAFSA and/or to apply for a Parent PLUS loan.

Additional guidance for completing the FAFSA is available from several sources including the 2017-2018 FASFA Brochure, FAFSA Help, and  FAFSA Tipsor in the Financial Aid Office at each college.
