Insurance Benefits for Full-time Employees
The District has four Medical plans and one Dental plan from which you may choose for your insurance coverage. Below you will find information about each plan. Please click on the link to see more detailed information about each plan.
IECC MEDICAL Plans - Detailed informaiton about each plan and the per month premiums cost.
MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT Plan (MRP) - With this plan, you waive medical coverage with IECC and remain on a spouse’s plan or other group plan.
DENTAL Plan - This is a traditional dental plan that allows for 2 free cleanings and 1 free x-ray per enrollee, per calendar year.
The District also provides a Life Insurance and an Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) policy for full-time employees. Each policy is equal to the employees gross annual base wages, rounded to the nearest $1,000.
The employee also has the option of purchasing, at their own cost, the following voluntary coverages (Click on the links for more information about the policies and costs):
Supplemental Life/AD&D coverage - Employee, Spouse and/or Dependent
Vision Insurance - Employee, Spouse and/or Dependent
Voluntary Long-Term Disability - Employee Only
Voluntary Critical Illness - Employee, Spouse and/or Dependent
Voluntary Accident - Employee, Spouse and/or Dependent
