Program Director
LeAnn Hartleroad, MS Ed, LPC, Program Director, is an alumni of TRiO Upward Bound and a member of the IECC TRiO Upward Bound 2nd graduating class. Prior to working with TRiO Upward Bound, she was a case manager for the Illinois Employment and Training Center in Olney. LeAnn has a Master's Degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University.

Kathy Slichenmyer, Office Assistant
Kathy Slichenmyer, Office Assistant for TRiO Upward Bound-West. She began her employment with the program in 1989, the year that the program received its first federal funding. Kathy returned to college as a non-traditional student and received an Associate in Applied Science - Clerical degree in 1989 from Olney Central College. She continues to take classes that enhance her skills and ability to keep up with ever changing technology.

Ryan Herdes, Academic Coordinator
Ryan Herdes joined the TRiO Upward Bound-West staff in September 2006. He has a double Bachelor's from Eastern Illinois University in History & Political Science. Ryan previously taught for the Clay City School District and is pursuing a Master's Degree from Eastern Illinois University.

Ashley Bussard, Counselor
Ashley Bussard joined the TRiO Upward Bound-West staff in September 2007. She has a Bachelor Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Eastern Illinois University. Ashley previously worked for the East Richland School District and was the Social Services Director at Richland Care and Rehab.

Misti Hinterscher joined the TRiO Upward Bound-West staff in September 2007. She has a Bachelor Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Eastern Illinois University. Misti previously taught for the West Richland School District and was a case manager for Southeastern Illinois Counseling Centers.
