Program Director
LeAnn Hartleroad, MS Ed, LPC, Program Director, is an alumni of TRiO Upward Bound and a member of the IECC TRiO Upward Bound 2nd graduating class. Prior to working with TRiO Upward Bound, she was a case manager for the Illinois Employment and Training Center in Olney. LeAnn has a Master’s Degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University.

Sheri Diaz, Office Assistant
Sheri Diaz joined the TRiO Upward Bound-East staff in September 2007. Sheri returned to college as a non-traditional student in 1997 and received her Associate in Applied Science-Administrative Support degree in 2000 from Lincoln Trail College. She has four years of experience working with teenagers.

Amanda Sharp, Academic Coordinator
Amanda Sharp joined the TRiO Upward Bound-East staff in September 2007. She is an alumni of the IECC Upward Bound Program and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from Oakland City University. Amanda has experience working with Oakland City University’s Upward Bound Program.

Rebekkah Hixon, CADC, Counselor
Rebekkah Hixon joined the TRiO Upward Bound-East staff in September 2006. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Illinois University with a concentration in psychology and has been teaching at the Robinson and Lawrence County Correctional Centers for a number of years. Rebekkah is also a certified drug and alcohol abuse counselor.

Brandon Weger, Counselor
Brandon Weger joined the TRiO Upward Bound-East staff in September 2007. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and History from Eureka College and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education. Brandon previously taught and coached football in the Crawford County School Districts and was a youth development Specialist at the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village.
