SAN OCC IN SERVICE TO OTHERS
MARCH 2013: SAN students lent their efforts to Mater's Hands Backpack Program. The program provides all meals and snacks to children of all ages who do not have enough nourishment over the weekend at home. The students picked upthe items needed to bulid the sacks, took time in between classes to create 101 sacks, and then delivered the sacks all over Richland county!
FALL 2012: SAN students created a Winter Wear Drive to provide warmth this winter for those in need. The created flyers and large boxes to gather items such as coats, gloves, scarves and blankets. The project loaded and emptied the boxes several times! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE THIS EFFORT A SUCCESS!

STOP the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE
SAN OCC Leadership class is hosting an anti-drug campaign with joint efforts of Richland County's Arbor Center. The leadership class will be selling t-shirts to those who support the anti-drug use message they created,"Don't be a Zombie; it's a dead end."
Leadership students will be selling at OCC, at IGA and with order forms. They will also be present at the April 25th public speaking engagement presented by CHOICES at East Richland High School. There the group will perform a skit created to share with audience members the loss associated with addiction. After, Retired Sergeant Bruce Talbot will speak on the issue.
Shirts will be $10 each and were created in part with help from the Arbor Center's graphic intern, Joe Nelson and Charleston Ink.
