Learn to Use QuickBooks Software Through OCC Online Course

Keyboard PhotoOlney Central College is offering an accounting course that teaches individuals to utilize the QuickBooks Pro software, which is ideal for small businesses.

ACC 1202 QuickBooks I is an eight-week online course designed to develop fundamental accounting concepts and principles through the use of QuickBooks. The course prepares students to use QuickBooks software on the job through hands-on training of basic program functions. The course will demonstrate initial company setup and creation of other core components of computerized accounting.

Students will create financial statements, purchase orders, sales invoices, budgets, receivables and payables, adjusting and closing entries, banking and reports.

The class is ideal for small business owners or individuals looking to enhance their skills and knowledge of the software. An advanced course, which builds upon the fundamental accounting concepts and principles learned in QuickBooks I, will be offered in October.
