Defensive Driving

Several National Safety Council Defensive Driving courses (DDC-4) will be offered throughout the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges District during April.

Classes will be offered from 6 to 10 p.m. April 15 at Olney Central College Wattleworth Hall Room 110; April 17, Lincoln Trail College Harry L. Crisp Educational Center Room 106; April 28, Wabash Valley College Science Building Room 55; and April 30, Frontier Community College Foundation Hall.

The DDC-4 course is a classroom “face-to-face” course.  It is accepted as an assigned driving course as required for traffic-related court supervision. Some insurance companies will provide a discount for successful completers of this course. Participants successfully completing the one-night course will receive a National Safety Council, DDC-4 Certificate. The cost for this class is $50. Special rates are available to senior citizens wishing a refresher on safe driving skills.
