Spring 2018 Food Sanitation  & Safety Classes

Frontier Community College (FCC) will be offering 1-day Food Sanitation & Safety classes for the Spring 2018 semester.  The classes will meet with instructor Cheryl McCarty from 8am until 6pm in Bob Boyles Hall.  Anyone in need of state certification for food handling is encouraged to register as soon as possible.  Positions requiring this certification may include jobs in a school cafeteria, restaurant, hospital, and catering service.

Anyone needing to take the class must register with FCC and purchase the required textbook from the bookstore, located in the Bobcat Den (130 Market Avenue).  The cost of the class will be paid at the time of registration.  A tuition discount is available for senior citizens.

Students are encouraged to read the textbook prior to class, as an exam for certification will be given at the end of the day.
