Todd Weber, WTHI-TV Vice-President & General Manager
A solid education and confidence can take you places. Just ask LTC graduate Todd Weber.
The former Robinson resident is now the vice president and general manager for WTHI-TV, a CBS affiliate in Terre Haute, Ind. The station has served as a launching pad for distinguished journalists such as former CBS newsman Phil Jones and former CNN anchor David Goodnow.
As a student at LTC, Weber filled his schedule with business classes before transferring to Eastern Illinois University where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
“Lincoln Trail College provided me with a very good education,” he said. “I really enjoyed the smaller class sizes as I felt I received a lot of one-on-one attention from my teachers. It was a very friendly atmosphere as most of the students and teachers knew each other.”
When Weber was ready to transfer his credits to EIU, he said it was a very smooth transition.
“I was very satisfied with my choice to attend LTC. They offered to me everything I needed at that time of my life. The college provided an excellent education, great atmosphere, and it was affordable.”
“But the main thing LTC did was to help me with my confidence and social skills,” Weber said.
