WVC Food Drive Benefits the WADI Food Pantry

Through the generosity of students, faculty, staff and the community, the Wabash Valley College Student Senate was able to collect over 2,000 non-perishable food items to donate to the Wabash Area Development Incorporated (WADI) Food Pantry to help those less fortunate in Wabash County during the holiday season.  The 2,061 items donated to the WVC Student Senate’s food drive were the most donated on any IECC campus, and, as a result, a travelling trophy for the campus that collects the most items will reside on the WVC campus for the next year.

IAA Foundation Scholarship Application Available Online

The IAA Foundation plans to award 75 scholarships to students majoring in agriculture, agri-business or a related field, as well as scholarships open to any major.  Applications and guidelines and are available online at www.iaafoundation.org Applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2018.

Free GED Test Prep Classes at WVC

Wabash Valley College is pleased to announce the upcoming Free GED Test Prep Classes which will be offered at Wabash Valley College.  The classes will be offered from January 9-March 1 and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00p.m. or 5:00p.m.-9:00 p.m. in Main Hall Room 202 at Wabash Valley College.

Softball Camp to be Held at WVC

Wabash Valley College will host a Softball Camp on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11, 2018.  The camp, for girls ages 7-17, will be held in WVC’s Spencer Sports Center Gym.  Hitting and Fielding will be on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11, from 1:00-3:30 p.m.  The Pitching portion will be on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11, from 3:30-4:15 p.m.
