The NRA Foundation Awards $2400 to the WVC Shooting Club

The NRA Foundation has awarded Wabash Valley College a grant totaling $2400 to fund two (2) Winchester shotguns and 1500 rounds of ammunition.  "We are very excited about the WVC Shooting Club," said Dean Robert Conn, "and pleased that the NRA is making an investment in the WVC Shooting Sports Initiative."

2017-18 TRIO Student Support Services Peer Mentors

The Peer Mentors for the Wabash Valley College  TRIO Student Support Services program had their first meeting recently with Academic Counselor Tayna Smith.  Smith communicated the expectations she had of the mentoring program, and since training had been completed, plans for the upcoming academic year were discussed.

Free GED Test Prep Classes Offered at WVC

Wabash Valley College is pleased to announce the upcoming Free GED Test Prep Classes which will be offered at Wabash Valley College.  The classes will be offered from August 22-October 12 and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon or 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in Main Hall Room 202.

Concealed Carry Class Offered at WVC September 7-9, 2017

If you are interested in obtaining your Illinois Concealed Carry License, why not enroll in the next Concealed Carry course being offered by Illinois Eastern Community Colleges which will be offered at  Wabash Valley College on Thursday and Friday nights, September 7 and 8,  from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., and on Saturday, September 9, from  8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

WVC  Auditions Set for Fall Production ''Last Round-up of the Guacamole Queens''

Auditions are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, August 28 and 29 in the Brubeck Arts Center Theatre for the Wabash Valley College-Wabash Valley Arts Council fall production, “Last Round-up of the Guacamole Queens.”   Performances are scheduled for 7:30, Thursday and Friday, October 19 and 20, along with a matinee at 1:30 on Sunday, October 22.
