Different night, same result for Lincoln Trail College's women's basketball team.
The Lady Statesmen once again fell behind early and could not erase the deficit, dropping a 73-55 decision to visiting St. Louis (Mo.) Community College Tuesday night.
Lincoln Trail dug themselves a 35-22 hole at halftime, then played close to even with SLCC in the second half, but the Lady Archers outscored LTC 38-33 after halftime to secure the win.

Both teams shot well from the free throw line, with LTC going 18-21 at the charity stripe (86 percent) and SLCC making 20-25 foul shots (80 percent).
