  • Collision Repair- Auto Body Building
  • Industrial Maintenance- Applied Technology Building

  • Massage Therapy – Massage Therapy Building
  • Information Systems Technology- Applied Technology Building
  • Nursing and Radiography Clinicals will meet at their respective off campus sites


All courses in Wattleworth Hall are canceled for Tuesday 2/24 and the building is closed.

OCC Students,

You may have heard that OCC had a fire in Wattleworth Hall this Saturday. No one was hurt and agencies are on site now helping us get back to full capacity. We are working to address the smoke damage that occurred and appreciate your patience and understanding as we address this issue. 

First, there will be no classes or on campus activities on Monday, February 23. Do not report to campus on Monday.

On Tuesday, February 24, we will have a limited opening of those courses and programs that meet off campus and across the bridge. Courses and activities that meet in Wattleworth Hall are cancelled on Tuesday. Do not enter Wattleworth Hall at this time. Programs like Welding and Cosmetology will meet in their buildings.

All online courses should meet as designated. 

We are working on options for courses that are located in Wattleworth Hall on Wednesday and will keep you updated as we finalize plans. We will work to send out an additional email update on Monday. 

Thanks again for your patience. Your educational experience is important to us and we will work to ensure your instructional and service needs are met.

OCC will have a limited opening on Wednesday, February 25. Off campus and across the bridge programs will continue to meet in those locations.

We have developed a limited number of course and program offerings in the West Richland Center (Click for Map), formerly Noble High School, for Wednesday as well. For the status on OCC courses restarting and/or new meeting times and locations, log on to your Entrata account. Then, access your course schedule under the Student Services/Course Schedule link on the left. All OCC courses will have a special note linked to them about the courses' status. Wattleworth Hall is still closed for Wednesday and there are no classes within that building. We thank you for your patience and will continue to work through these issues. We are working for options on limited Thursday courses at the West Richland Center.

OCC Classes Are Resuming

Olney Central College is continuing to reschedule classes held in Wattleworth Hall, which remains closed. Limited courses will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 25 in the West Richland Center, formerly West Richland High School in Noble. Additional courses will resume on Thursday, Feb. 26.

For the status of OCC courses restarting and/or new meeting times and locations, students are urged to log on to their Entrata accounts as information is being updated regularly. Once in Entrata they will have access to their course schedule under the Student Services/Course Schedule link on the left. All OCC courses will have a special note linked to them about the courses’ status. Meeting locations also are available at http://www.iecc.edu/occ/schedule

A shuttle service will be available for students who need transportation from the college to the West Richland Center. Parking for students will be available at the WRC. The shuttle will depart from the OCC Theatre entrance with an additional stop behind the Automotive Technology Building before it proceeds to the WRC. Shuttle pick up signs will be posted.

A schedule for the shuttle is available at www.iecc.edu/occ. Students should check for updates as it is subject to change.

Limited courses will meet Friday, Feb. 27, Monday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 3 at the West Richland Center, formerly West Richland High School, 302 E. North Ave., in Noble.

Students are urged to log on to their Entrata accounts to check the status of OCC courses. Meeting locations also are available at http://www.iecc.edu/occ/schedule. Students with questions should contact their instructor or the OCC Student Services Office at 618-395-7777.

The OCC Anderson Library will open and resume regular hours on Friday, Feb. 27. Students are asked to access the library from the stairwell outside Student Services.
