Program Assessment

• Faculty in each career and technical program should complete assessment to ensure that their program outcomes are being met by graduates.
• Program outcomes are available using the following path visiting the toolkit and then under Program on the left choose Results.
• Tools commonly used are Portfolios, Performance Checklists, Projects, or exams.
• Questions Program Assessment Should Answer:
  Are students meeting our program outcomes?
  Are there concerns with the sequencing or scheduling of courses?
  Are students graduating with the skills that they need for the workforce?
• Collected data is reported on your choice of form using the following path visiting the toolkit and then under Program on the left choose Results. Results should be submitted by each program each semester/year that students are assessed (graduate) from the program. Please be sure to show action steps on how you plan to or are using the results from the assessment.
