COMPASS Testing
FCC
The computer based COMPASS test is administered during regular office hours Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm on the Frontier Community College campus. Call the Student Services Office at 618-842-3711 ext 4110 or 877-464-3687 and speak with Jan Wiles to arrange a testing time. Students should allow approximately 1 hour to complete the three sections on math, English, and reading. Testing is not timed and score results are immediate. Academic advisors are available to discuss the results with the students following testing.

All students who plan to enroll for the first time must attend one of the sessions listed below or submit acceptable ACT scores to the Office of Admissions and Records. Students submitting ACT/SAT scores need to contact a Recruiter/Career Advisor at ext. 1122, Student Advisor at ext. 1051, or Student Services Assistant at ext. 1126 to determine if further testing is needed. Students may take the COMPASS test at any of listed sessions. Students desiring advisement should make individual appointments or attend one of the sessions designated for testing and advising. Students interested in nursing must make an appointment with Cheryl Knight. Please arrange for an official high school transcript to be sent to the Admissions Office prior to your advising appointment. PHOTO IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED ON THE DAY OF TESTING.
