Our Mission Statement:
The mission of the Adult Education Program of Illinois Eastern Community Colleges is to provide adults with instruction and support services in Adult Basic Education (ABE), Family Literacy, Adult Volunteer Literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), and/or General Education Development (GED®) to meet student’s individual goals. The program will assist students to successfully transition into post-secondary education, employment, skills training, and career enhancement.
